6. Payments and Fees

Project fees will be communicated to the client before the project begins.

Depending on the project, Ajita Technologies may require an advance payment before commencing work.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • The agreed advance payment is required before project development begins.

  • Remaining payments must be made according to the agreed payment schedule.

  • Additional work outside the original project scope may incur additional charges.

  • Delayed payments may result in suspension of development, maintenance, or support services.

  • Website files or final deliverables may be withheld until outstanding payments are cleared.

7. Revisions and Changes

Additional charges may apply for work outside the agreed scope.

Domain registration and web hosting may be purchased directly by the client or through Ajita Technologies, depending on the project arrangement.

Where the client owns the domain or hosting account, the client remains responsible for maintaining ownership and payment of those services.

Ajita Technologies is not responsible for domain expiration, hosting suspension, account cancellation, or service interruption caused by the client’s failure to maintain third-party services.

11. Website Maintenance and Support

Maintenance and support services are available only when included in the selected package or separately agreed upon.

Maintenance may include activities such as:

  • Minor content updates

  • WordPress/plugin updates

  • Bug fixes

  • Basic technical support

  • Website monitoring

Maintenance does not necessarily include major redesigns, new functionality, extensive development, third-party service charges, or major content creation unless specifically agreed.

12. SEO Services

Where SEO services are provided, Ajita Technologies will use reasonable and generally accepted SEO practices.

However, we do not guarantee:

  • A specific Google ranking

  • A specific position in search results

  • A specific number of visitors

  • A specific number of leads

  • A specific revenue increase

13. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Ajita Technologies retains ownership of its own pre-existing materials, development methods, reusable code, templates, frameworks, processes, and other proprietary resources.

Upon receipt of full payment, the client may receive rights to use the final website deliverables created specifically for the client, subject to the agreed project terms.

Third-party themes, plugins, fonts, images, software, libraries, and other materials remain subject to their respective licenses and terms.

14. Portfolio and Promotional Use

Unless the client requests otherwise in writing, Ajita Technologies may display completed website projects in its portfolio, website, social media, presentations, or promotional materials for the purpose of showcasing its work.

If a project contains confidential information or the client specifically requests that the project not be publicly displayed, Ajita Technologies will consider such request.

15. Confidentiality

Ajita Technologies will make reasonable efforts to protect confidential business information shared by clients during the course of a project.

Clients are also expected to keep confidential any proprietary information, pricing, development resources, or other confidential information provided by Ajita Technologies.

This obligation does not apply to information that:

  • Is publicly available;

  • Was already known lawfully;

  • Becomes publicly available without breach of these terms; or

  • Must be disclosed by law or a valid legal requirement.

16. Website Availability

22. Governing Law
